Here at St. Joseph School we enjoy a diverse community of students from areas in and around Roselle, New Jersey. Our school enrolls children in grades pre-kindergarten through eighth grade who are interested in an excellent education within a Catholic environment. We pride ourselves on admitting students without regard to race or ethnic origin as well as those of different educational levels within their grade.  Applications for admission are accepted on a rolling basis beginning on the Sunday of Catholic Schools Week in late January. 

Our age requirements for admission are as follows: 

• Children applying to the early childhood program must be 2 years of age prior to admission. 
• Children applying to kindergarten must be 5 years of age prior to October 1st. 
• Children applying to the first grade must be 6 years of age prior to October 1st. 

To facilitate the application process, families wishing to apply for a child in kindergarten through eighth grade must present the following documents: 

• Birth certificate 
• Baptismal certificate (if Catholic) 
• Any progress reports available from an early childhood school for Kindergarten is acceptable. 
• For first grade entrants, a kindergarten progress report will suffice. 
• From grades 2 and up, copies of previous report cards and standardized test scores from the previous school year should be presented. 
• All students must present a record of immunization.  
• A registration form must be filled out and presented along with a registration fee.
